  • Chicken breastOr: Chicken thighs
    150 g
  • Teriyaki sauce
    30 ml
  • Soy sauce
    ¾ tbsp
  • Mirin
    ¾ tbsp
  • Brown sugar
    ½ tbsp
  • Garlic cloves

  • Ginger
    ½ cm
  • Sesame seeds

Method

Step by step

    Reduce soy sauce, mirin, sake and sugar into teriyaki sauce.

    Salt chicken thighs and sear skin-side down in a pan.

    Flip and cook through.

    Drain fat, add teriyaki sauce to the pan.

  5. 5

    Glaze chicken in the sauce until syrupy.

    Serve with sesame and rice.
