  • Sweet potatoes

  • Wheat flour
    50 g
  • CornstarchOr: Starch

Method

Step by step

    Roughly stir ice-cold water, egg and flour with chopsticks into batter (lumps are fine).

    Pat shrimp, fish pieces and vegetables dry.

    Heat vegetable oil to 175°C.

  4. 4

    Briefly turn ingredients in batter and drop into hot oil.

    Fry 2–3 min per side until golden.

  6. 6

    Drain on paper towels.

  7. 7

    Serve with tentsuyu sauce, daikon and ginger.
