- Chicken wings½ kg
- Butter25 g
- Hot sauce50 ml
- Garlic powder¼ tsp
- Sweet paprika¼ tsp
- Cayenne pepper¼ tsp
- Apple vinegar¼ tbsp
- Worcestershire sauce¼ tsp
- Sunflower oil 0.25 l for fryingas needed
- Celery sticks1 stick
- Blue cheese dressing50 ml

Step by step

Cut chicken wings at the joints into 2 pieces, pat dry.

Season with salt, garlic powder and paprika.

Heat oil to 175°C.

Deep-fry wings in batches 10–12 minutes until golden brown, drain on paper towels.

Melt butter in a pot, stir in hot sauce, apple vinegar, Worcestershire and cayenne.

Bring sauce to a brief boil.

Toss hot wings in the sauce until fully coated.

Serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing for dipping.
