Step by step

    Whip masa with broth and lard until fluffy.

    Soak corn husks in warm water.

    Prepare filling of pulled pork, chili or cheese.

    Spread masa on the corn husk, place filling in the center.

    Roll up corn husk and fold.

    Steam tamales upright in a steamer for 60–90 min.

    Serve with salsa.
