  • Butter
    20 g
  • Saffron

  • YogurtOr: Plain yogurt

  • Iodized salt

Method

Step by step

    Wash rice, briefly soak and pre-cook.

    Coat pot bottom with oil, butter and saffron water.

  3. 3

    Press a layer of rice firmly into the bottom (tahdig).

  4. 4

    Layer remaining rice in a pyramid over.

  5. 5

    Cover pot and cook over low heat for 45 min.

    Invert so the crispy crust is on top.
