  • Savoy cabbageOr: White cabbage, Kale
    100 g
  • Butter
    25 g
  • Milk
    40 ml
  • LeekOr: Spring onions
    1 stalk
  • Bacon cubesOr: Bacon

  • Pepper

Method

Step by step

    Peel and dice potatoes, boil in salt water for about 20 minutes until soft.

    Slice savoy cabbage into fine strips and blanch in salt water for 5 minutes, drain.

    Slice leek into fine rings.

    Render bacon crispy in a pan.

    Briefly sauté leek in the bacon fat for 3 minutes.

    Drain potatoes and mash with milk and butter into a puree.

    Fold cabbage, leek and bacon into the puree.

    Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

    Serve hot with a knob of butter in the middle.
