Step by step

    Pit dates, simmer with water and baking soda, puree.

    Cream butter and sugar, incorporate eggs one by one.

    Mix flour and baking powder, fold in with date mass.

    Pour batter into baking dish, bake at 175°C for about 35 min.

    For the sauce simmer butter, brown sugar and cream.

    Serve pudding warm with toffee sauce and vanilla ice cream.
