Method

Step by step

    Caramelize sugar in a pan, add butter.

    Halve or quarter apples and steep in the caramel.

    Lay puff pastry over the apples, tuck in the edges.

    Place pan in the oven, bake at 200°C for about 25 min.

    Let cool briefly.

    Invert onto a plate so the apples are on top.

    Serve lukewarm with vanilla ice cream.
