Method

Step by step

    Take steak out of fridge in time, pat dry.

    Heat pan strongly, oil steak and salt generously.

  3. 3

    Sear steak 2–3 min per side.

    Reduce heat, add butter, garlic and thyme.

  5. 5

    Baste steak with the butter until desired doneness.

    Rest 5 min before slicing.
