  • Chicken breast
    150 g
  • Soy sauce
    1 tbsp
  • Sweet soy sauceOr: Kecap Manis
    ½ tbsp
  • Garlic cloves
    1 Stk
  • Ginger
    ½ cm
  • Turmeric
    ¼ tsp
  • Cumin
    ¼ tsp
  • Coriander seeds
    ¼ tsp
  • Brown sugar
    ½ tbsp
  • Peanut butter
    50 g
  • Coconut milk
    50 ml
  • Lime juice
    ½ tbsp
  • Sambal
    ½ tbsp
  • Wooden skewers
    4 Stk
  • Sunflower oil
    3 tbsp
Method

Step by step

    Cut chicken into thin strips.

    Marinade from 2 tbsp soy sauce, pressed garlic, grated ginger, turmeric, cumin, coriander, sugar and oil.

    Marinate chicken for 30 min.

    Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 min.

    Skewer chicken.

    Peanut sauce: stir peanut butter with coconut milk, remaining soy sauce, sambal, lime juice and kecap manis.

    Simmer sauce in a pot for 5 min.

    Heat a grill pan very hot.

    Grill skewers 3 min per side.

    Serve with peanut sauce for dipping.
