- Almonds 10 g choppedas needed
- Butter 15 g meltedas needed
- Honey20 ml
- Sunflower oil 90 ml for fryingas needed
- Iodized salt¼ tsp
Step by step

Chop chicken very finely or pass through a grinder.

Finely chop onions and sauté in a little butter until translucent.

Add chicken and cook through.

Season with salt, cumin and cinnamon.

Whisk eggs and stir in until the mixture sets.

Stir in chopped parsley, cilantro and almonds, let cool.

Cut filo sheets into 8 cm wide strips and brush with butter.

Place 1 tbsp filling at the end and fold into triangles.

Heat oil to 175°C and fry briouats 2–3 minutes until golden.

Toss hot in warm honey and serve immediately.
