- Beef brisketOr: Flank steak¼ kg
- Bell pepper1 Stk
- Onions1 Stk
- Garlic cloves2 Stk
- Tomatoes 100 g pureedOr: Pureed tomatoesas needed
- Tomato paste½ tbsp
- White wine dry40 ml
- Beef broth130 ml
- Bay leaves1 Stk
- Parsley1 bunch
- Oregano dried¼ tsp
- Olive oil1 tbsp
- Olives green25 g
- Iodized salt1 tsp

Step by step

Simmer beef brisket with water, bay leaf and salt for 90 min, let cool.

Take meat out and shred into fine strands.

Heat olive oil in a pot.

Cut onions and bell pepper into strips, sauté.

Add garlic.

Stir in tomato paste and roast for 2 min.

Deglaze with white wine.

Add tomatoes, broth, cumin and oregano.

Stir in shredded meat, braise 30 min until sauce is silky.

Add olives 5 min before end, serve with parsley and rice.
