  • Pork ribsOr: Pork belly
    ½ kg
  • BBQ sauce
    60 ml
  • Brown sugarOr: Sugar
    1 tbsp
  • Paprika sweet
    ½ tbsp
  • Garlic powder
    ¼ tbsp
  • Onion powder
    ¼ tbsp
  • Pepper
    ¼ tbsp
  • Iodized salt
    ¼ tbsp
  • MustardOr: Dijon mustard
    ½ tbsp
  • Apple vinegar
    ½ tbsp
  • HoneyOr: Maple syrup
    ½ tbsp
Method

Step by step

    Preheat oven to 130°C.

    Remove silver skin from the back of the ribs.

  3. 3

    Mix dry rub from brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.

    Rub ribs with mustard and generously coat with the rub.

  5. 5

    Wrap ribs in aluminum foil and braise on a tray for 2.5 hours.

    Mix BBQ sauce with apple vinegar and honey.

  7. 7

    Open foil, brush ribs with sauce and increase oven to 200°C.

  8. 8

    Bake another 15–20 minutes until sauce caramelizes.

    Rest 5 minutes before slicing.
