  • Sunflower oil 0.5 l for frying

  • Cheese curdsOr: Mozzarella

  • Butter

  • Flour

  • Beef broth
    130 ml
  • Chicken broth
    50 ml
  • Worcestershire sauce
    ¼ tsp
  • Garlic powder

  • Pepper

Method

Step by step

    Cut potatoes into thick fries, soak in cold water, dry.

    Sauce: melt butter, stir in flour, lightly brown.

    Pour in beef and chicken broth, stir smooth.

    Season with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt and pepper.

    Simmer 10 min until thickened.

    Fry the fries twice: 6 min at 140°C, then 3 min at 180°C.

    Salt lightly right after frying.

    Place on a plate.

    Generously sprinkle cheese curds over.
