    65 g
  • WaterOr: Vegetable broth
    ¼ l
  • Milk
    60 ml
  • Butter
    20 g
  • Parmesan 25 g grated
    as needed
  • Iodized salt
    ¼ tsp
  • Nutmeg
    1 pinch
Method

Step by step

    Bring water with milk and salt to boil in a heavy pot.

    Trickle polenta in while stirring constantly.

  3. 3

    Reduce heat to low.

  4. 4

    Simmer 30-40 min with regular stirring until very creamy.

  5. 5

    Take off heat.

  6. 6

    Stir in butter and parmesan.

  7. 7

    Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.

  8. 8

    Serve immediately as side or spread into a mold to cool, later cut into pieces and fry/grill.
