  • Butter

  • Whipping cream
    50 ml
  • Garam Masala
    ¼ tsp
  • Curry powder
    ½ tsp
  • Cumin
    ¼ tsp
  • Kashmiri chiliOr: Cayenne pepper
    ¼ tsp
  • Tomato paste
    ½ tbsp
  • Sugar
    ¼ tsp
  • Cilantro

Method

Step by step

    Soak cashews in hot water 15 minutes.

    Dice tomatoes, puree finely with cashews.

  3. 3

    Melt butter in a pot.

    Brown finely chopped onion golden.

  5. 5

    Add finely chopped garlic and ginger.

    Stir in tomato paste, curry powder, cumin and chili, toast 2 min.

    Add tomato-cashew puree and simmer 15 min until oil rises to surface.

    Stir in cream, season with salt and sugar.

    Cube paneer and steep in sauce 5 min.

  10. 10

    Top with garam masala and cilantro, serve with naan.
