Method

Step by step

    Dissolve yeast in lukewarm milk.

    Add flour, sugar, salt, eggs, butter, vanilla and lemon zest.

    Knead into a smooth dough.

    Knead in raisins and almonds.

    Let rise for 60 min.

    Braid into plaits or shape.

    Let rise for another 30 min.

    Bake at 180°C for about 30 min.
