- Wheat flour50 g
- Eggs1 Stk
- Water50 ml
- Bacon cubes40 g
- Spring onions1 Stk
- Mung bean sproutsOr: Soybean sprouts25 g
- Tenkasu15 g
- Mayonnaise20 g
- Tonkatsu sauceOr: BBQ sauce20 g
- Bonito flakes10 g
- Nori1 sheet
- Sunflower oil¾ tbsp
- Pickled ginger 10 g redas needed

Step by step

Slice cabbage very finely.

Whisk flour with water and eggs into smooth batter.

Fold cabbage, chopped spring onions, sprouts and tenkasu into batter.

Heat oil in a large pan.

Pour in half of batter as a round disc, place bacon slices on top.

Fry over medium heat 5 minutes.

Carefully flip and bake 5 more minutes.

Place on plate.

Brush with tonkatsu sauce and mayo.

Top with bonito flakes, nori and ginger, serve immediately.
