    1000 ml

Step by step

    Place a large pot of water on the stove and bring to a boil.

    Add plenty of salt.

    Add pasta to vigorously boiling water.

    Cook al dente according to package instructions.

    Scoop out 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

    Drain pasta, do not rinse.
