- Garam MasalaOr: Curry powder¼ tsp
- Tomatoes 125 g pureedOr: Pureed tomatoesas needed

- Whipping cream50 ml

- Garlic cloves1 Stk
- Ginger½ cm
- Curry powder½ tsp
- Sunflower oil 130 ml for fryingas needed

Method
Step by step

Boil potatoes, peel, finely grate.

Finely grate paneer.

Mix with cornstarch, garam masala and salt.

Form small balls from mixture, embedding one cashew in each.

Heat oil to 170°C, fry balls golden brown, set aside.

Sauce: brown onions, garlic, ginger in butter golden.

Add curry powder and tomatoes, simmer 10 minutes.

Soak cashews, puree finely with some water, stir into sauce.

Add cream, simmer 5 minutes.

Add kofta to sauce just before serving, serve with rice or naan.
