  • Cheddar 75 g grated

  • Gruyère 25 g gratedOr: Emmentaler

  • Breadcrumbs

Method

Step by step

    Preheat oven to 200°C.

    Cook macaroni al dente in salted water, drain.

    Melt butter in a pot, stir in flour, sweat 1 minute.

    Add milk while stirring, simmer 5 minutes.

    Stir in cheddar and gruyère until melted.

    Season with mustard, nutmeg, cayenne, salt and pepper.

    Mix pasta into sauce.

    Place in baking dish.

    Mix breadcrumbs with parmesan and some melted butter, sprinkle on top.

    Bake 20 minutes until golden brown.
