Method

Step by step

    Preheat oven to 180°C, line pan (20x20 cm).

    Beat butter with sugar until fluffy.

    Stir in eggs one by one, then vanilla.

    Mix flour with baking powder, fold in alternating with milk.

    Pour batter into pan, bake 25 minutes.

    Let cake cool completely, ideally overnight in fridge.

    Cut into cubes.

    Whisk powdered sugar with cocoa and hot water into glaze.

    Pull cubes through glaze with two forks.

    Roll in coconut flakes and dry on a rack.
