  • Basmati rice
    75 g
  • Eggs 1 pc hard-boiled
    as needed
  • Onions

  • Curry powder
    ½ tsp
  • Turmeric
    ¼ tsp
  • Chives

  • Parsley

  • Lime juiceOr: Lemon juice

  • Nutmeg

Method

Step by step

    Cover smoked fish in a shallow pot with water, add bay.

    Steep 8 minutes, do not boil.

  3. 3

    Remove fish, break into pieces, remove skin and bones.

  4. 4

    Cook rice in salted water.

  5. 5

    Hard-boil eggs, peel and quarter.

  6. 6

    Melt butter in a pan, sweat finely chopped onion until translucent.

    Stir in curry and turmeric and toast 1 minute.

    Add rice and fish and gently combine.

    Season with lime juice, salt and pepper, optionally add cream.

    Serve sprinkled with egg quarters and parsley.
