  • Emmentaler 40 g grated

  • Butter
    20 g
  • Chives
    1 bunch
  • Nutmeg

  • Pepper

  • Iodized salt

Method

Step by step

    Slice onions into fine rings.

    Heat butter in a pan, caramelize onions golden 15 minutes.

    Cook spätzle in salted water or heat ready-made spätzle.

    Drain spätzle, let drip well.

  5. 5

    Layer in oven-proof dish with cheese, salt, pepper and nutmeg between layers.

    Last layer: lots of cheese.

    Bake at 200°C 10 minutes until cheese is melted.

    Top with caramelized onions.

    Serve sprinkled with chives.
