  • Wheat flour
    20 g
  • Butter
    10 g
  • Sugar
    15 g
  • Eggs
    1 Stk
  • Red currants
    40 g
  • Baking powder
    ¼ tsp
  • Vanilla sugar
    1 Pck
  • Salt
    1 pinch
  • Powdered sugar
    ¼ tbsp
Method

Step by step

    Cream butter with 100 g sugar and vanilla sugar.

    Stir in 3 egg yolks.

    Add flour, baking powder and salt, knead into a dough.

    Press onto a greased tray.

  5. 5

    Wash currants, strip and distribute on the dough.

  6. 6

    Pre-bake at 180°C for about 20 min.

    Whip egg whites with remaining sugar to stiff peaks.

  8. 8

    Spread meringue onto the currants.

  9. 9

    Bake another 15–20 min until golden.
