- Chickpeas cannedOr: Chickpeas dried200 g
- Tahini25 g
- Lime juiceOr: Lemon juice1 tbsp
- Garlic cloves1 Stk
- Olive oil20 ml
- Cumin¼ tsp
- Water 20 ml ice coldas needed
- Iodized salt¼ tsp
- Pita bread 1 pc for servingas needed
- Paprika sweet¼ tsp
- Parsley1 bunch

Step by step

Drain and rinse chickpeas.

Optional: remove skins for extra creamy hummus.

Place chickpeas with tahini, lime juice, pressed garlic and salt in a blender.

Puree very finely.

Add cumin and 50 ml olive oil, continue to puree.

Add ice-cold water drop by drop until hummus is very creamy and airy.

Spoon into a bowl and smooth, form a well with a spoon.

Fill with olive oil, sprinkle with paprika and parsley.

Serve with warm pita bread.
