  • Beef mince

  • Eggs

  • Breadcrumbs
    20 g
  • Onion
    1 Stk
  • Garlic cloves
    1 Stk
  • Tomatoes pureed
    150 g
  • Cream
    60 ml
  • Spinach
    50 g
  • Grated cheese
    50 g
  • Olive oil

  • Basil
    1 bunch
  • Italian herbs
    ½ tsp

Method

Step by step

    Finely chop onion and 1 garlic clove.

    Combine mince with egg, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, salt and pepper.

    Form balls.

    Heat olive oil in a pan, sear balls all over and remove.

    Sauté remaining garlic, deglaze with pureed tomatoes.

    Add cream, season with Italian herbs, salt and pepper.

    Stir in spinach and let wilt.

    Place balls in a baking dish, pour sauce over.

    Sprinkle with grated cheese and Parmesan.

    Gratinate at 200°C for about 20 min until golden.
