- Beef mince150 g
- Eggs1 Stk
- Breadcrumbs20 g
- Onion1 Stk
- Garlic cloves1 Stk
- Tomatoes pureed200 g
- Olive oil1 tbsp
- Salt¼ tsp
- Pepper1 pinch
- Paprika powder¼ tsp
- Oregano¼ tsp
- Basil1 bunch
- Broth30 ml
- Sugar¼ tsp
Method
Step by step

Very finely chop onion and 1 garlic clove.

Combine mince with egg, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, salt, pepper and paprika powder.

Form small balls from the mixture.

Heat olive oil in a pan, sear balls all over, remove.

Sauté remaining garlic in the same oil.

Deglaze with pureed tomatoes and broth.

Adjust with salt, pepper, oregano and sugar.

Return balls to the sauce, simmer 15 min.

Serve sprinkled with basil.
