- Cinnamon¼ tsp

- Lemon juice¼ tbsp
- Baking powder¼ tsp
- Salt1 pinch
- Powdered sugar5 g
- Brown sugar10 g
Step by step

Mix flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and vanilla sugar.

Add cold butter cubes and eggs, knead into a shortcrust dough.

Divide dough in half, wrap in foil and chill 30 min.

Peel, core and cube apples.

Mix with lemon juice, cinnamon and brown sugar.

Roll out the first half of dough and place into a greased springform with raised edge.

Fill in apple filling.

Roll out second half and place as a lid, press edges together.

Bake at 180°C for about 45 min until golden.

Dust lukewarm with powdered sugar.
