  • Brussels sprouts
    150 g
  • Bacon
    25 g
  • Garlic cloves
    1 Stk
  • Olive oil
    ¾ tbsp
  • Butter
    10 g
  • Honey
    ½ tbsp
  • Balsamic
    ½ tbsp
  • Salt
    ¼ tsp
  • Pepper
    1 pinch
  • Walnut kernels

Method

Step by step

    Trim Brussels sprouts and halve.

    Slice bacon into strips, finely chop garlic, roughly chop walnuts.

    Sear bacon crispy in a pan and remove.

    Heat olive oil and butter in the pan, fry sprouts cut-side down for 5 min.

    Flip and fry another 5 min, add garlic.

    Deglaze with honey and balsamic, briefly caramelize.

    Adjust with salt and pepper.

    Serve sprinkled with bacon and walnuts.
