- Fava beansOr: Broad beans125 g
- Garlic cloves1 Stk
- Lime juiceOr: Lemon juice¾ tbsp
- Olive oil1,3 tbsp
- Cumin½ tsp
- TomatoesOr: Vine tomatoes1 Stk
- Curry powder¼ tsp
- Eggs 1 pc hard-boiledas needed

- Chili pepper1 Stk
- Tahini½ tbsp
- Iodized salt¼ tsp
Method
Step by step

Heat fava beans with water and 1 tbsp salt in a pot, simmer about 10 minutes.

Lightly mash beans with a little cooking water, but they should not be fully pureed.

Press garlic, add to bean mixture with lime juice, cumin, olive oil and salt.

Dice tomatoes, chop parsley.

Plate beans in bowls.

Top with tomato cubes, parsley, egg slices and chili.

Drizzle with olive oil and add tahini if desired.

Serve with warm pita bread.
