- White fish filletOr: Salmon fresh150 g
- Coconut milk100 ml
- TomatoesOr: Pureed tomatoes1 Stk
- Onions1 Stk
- Garlic cloves1 Stk
- Ginger1 cm
- Curry powder½ tsp
- Turmeric¼ tsp
- Mustard seeds¼ tsp
- Curry leavesOr: Bay leaves3 leaves
- Sunflower oil¾ tbsp
- Cilantro1 bunch
- Iodized salt¼ tsp
- Chili pepper1 Stk
Method
Step by step

Finely chop onions, garlic and ginger.
- 2
Heat oil in a pot, add mustard seeds until they start to pop.

Briefly fry curry leaves and chili.

Add onions and fry golden brown.

Add garlic and ginger, briefly cook.

Stir in curry powder and turmeric and toast for 1 minute.

Dice tomatoes and add, simmer 5 minutes.

Deglaze with coconut milk and add tamarind paste.

Cut fish into pieces and let steep in the sauce for 8 minutes, do not boil.

Season with salt and serve sprinkled with cilantro.
