Step by step

    Trim, wash and drain lamb's lettuce well.

    Slice mushrooms, finely chop garlic.

    Render bacon cubes crispy in a pan, remove.

    Sauté mushrooms in the bacon fat with garlic for about 5 min.

    Finely chop shallot.

    Whisk apple vinegar, mustard, honey, shallot, salt and pepper, beat in olive oil.

    Combine lamb's lettuce with the dressing.

  8. 8

    Top with mushrooms, bacon and croutons.
