Step by step

Cream butter (200 g) and sugar.

Stir in eggs one by one, season with salt and vanilla.

Mix flour with baking powder and stir into the butter mixture alternately with milk.

Spread half the batter onto a greased baking tray.

Mix remaining batter with cocoa and spread on top.

Drain sour cherries (reserve juice) and place on the batter.

Bake at 180°C for about 30 min, let cool.

Cook pudding with cherry juice according to package, mix with remaining butter.

Spread pudding over the cake and chill.
