Step by step

Bring water, butter, sugar and salt to a boil in a pot.

Remove pot from heat, add flour all at once and beat with a wooden spoon into a smooth dough.

Return dough to heat for 2 minutes, stirring constantly until a ball forms.

Let cool slightly, then incorporate eggs one at a time.

Fill dough into a piping bag with star tip.

Heat oil to 170°C.

Pipe 15 cm long strips directly into the oil, cut with scissors.

Fry 2–3 minutes golden, drain on paper towels.

Roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.

Melt chocolate with cream and serve as dip.
