- Tomato paste½ tbsp
- Italian herbs½ tsp

Step by step

Preheat oven to 180°C.

Finely chop onions and garlic, sauté in oil.

Add mince and brown until crumbly.

Add tomato paste, toast briefly, deglaze with pureed tomatoes and herbs, simmer 15 minutes.

Blanch spinach, squeeze out and roughly chop.

Mix half the mince with spinach, ricotta and egg, season.

Line a baking dish with some tomato sauce.

Fill cannelloni with spinach-ricotta-mince mixture and place in the dish.

Pour remaining tomato sauce over, sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan.

Bake 30–35 minutes until golden brown.
