Step by step

Cut beef into thin slices.

Finely grate pear, mix with soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, pressed garlic and ginger to make marinade.

Let meat marinate for 20 minutes.

Cook rice per package instructions.

Cut carrots into fine strips, briefly stir-fry in pan with salt.

Blanch spinach, squeeze out and season with a little sesame oil.

Heat oil in a pan and sear meat for 3–4 minutes.

Fry eggs sunny-side up.

Place rice in bowls, arrange meat, carrots and spinach on top.

Top with fried egg and sprinkle with spring onions and sesame.
