  • Chicken
    ½ kg
  • Butter
    15 g
  • Garlic cloves
    1 Stk
  • Paprika powder
    ½ tsp
  • Thyme
    2 sprigs
  • Rosemary
    2 sprigs
  • Lemon
    1 Stk
  • Salt
    ½ tsp
  • Pepper
    ¼ tsp
  • Olive oil
    ¾ tbsp
Method

Step by step

    Wash chicken, pat dry and rub with salt, pepper and paprika.

    Crush garlic, mix with butter, thyme and rosemary into a herb butter.

  3. 3

    Distribute butter under and on the skin.

  4. 4

    Place lemon halves into the cavity.

  5. 5

    Place chicken in a roasting dish, drizzle with olive oil.

  6. 6

    Roast at 200°C for about 70 min until crispy, baste occasionally.

  7. 7

    Rest 10 min before carving.
