- Buttered toastOr: White bread1 slice
- Milk40 ml

- Bay leaves1 Stk
- Sunflower oil¼ tbsp
- Iodized salt1 tsp
Step by step

Preheat oven to 180°C.

Finely chop onions and garlic, sauté in oil until translucent.

Add mince and brown until crumbly.

Stir in curry powder and turmeric, toast briefly.

Add jam, apple vinegar, almonds and raisins.

Soak toast in 50 ml milk, squeeze out and add to mince, season with salt.

Transfer mixture to a baking dish and smooth, stick bay leaves into the surface.

Whisk remaining milk with eggs and pour over the mince.

Bake 35–40 minutes until egg topping is set and golden.

Serve with yellow rice.
