  • Beef mince
    200 g
  • Feta sheep cheese
    50 g
  • Onion
    1 Stk
  • Garlic cloves
    1 Stk
  • Eggs
    1 Stk
  • Breadcrumbs
    20 g
  • Oregano
    ½ tsp
  • Mint
    ¼ tsp
  • Salt
    ¼ tsp
  • Pepper
    1 pinch
  • Paprika powder
    ¼ tsp
  • Olive oil
    ¾ tbsp
Method

Step by step

    Very finely chop onion and garlic.

    Vigorously mix mince with onion, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, oregano, mint, paprika, salt and pepper.

    Divide mince into 8 portions, flatten each.

  4. 4

    Cut feta into 4 pieces.

  5. 5

    Place a piece of feta between two mince portions, seal edges firmly.

  6. 6

    Heat olive oil in a pan.

  7. 7

    Fry bifteki 5–6 min per side until golden.

  8. 8

    Finish in oven at 180°C for about 8 min.
