Method

Step by step

    Knead flour, butter, sugar, ground almonds, egg yolk and vanilla into a dough.

    Wrap dough in foil and chill 30 min.

    Form small sausages and bend into horseshoes.

    Place on a baking sheet.

    Bake at 180°C for about 12 min until pale yellow.

    Roll while still warm in vanilla powdered sugar.
