  • DashiOr: Dashi broth
    2 tbsp
  • Soy sauce
    ½ tbsp
  • Mirin
    ½ tbsp
  • Sugar
    ½ tsp
  • Sunflower oil
    ½ tbsp
Method

Step by step

    Whisk eggs with soy sauce, mirin, dashi and sugar.

    Heat rectangular tamagoyaki pan, lightly oil.

  3. 3

    Pour a thin layer of egg mixture into the pan.

    When almost set, roll up from the edge to the center.

  5. 5

    Re-oil pan, add more egg mixture and roll around again.

  6. 6

    Repeat until all egg mixture is used.

  7. 7

    Let roll rest and slice.
