  • Wheat flour
    65 g
  • Yeast fresh
    1,8 g
  • Water 40 ml lukewarm
    as needed
  • Olive oil
    10 ml
  • Sugar
    ¼ tsp
  • Iodized salt
    ¼ tsp
  • Feta cheese
    25 g
  • Olive oil 20 ml for topping
    as needed
Method

Step by step

    Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water with sugar.

    Knead flour, salt, yeast mixture and 80 ml olive oil into smooth dough.

    Let dough rise 1 hour.

    Preheat oven to 230°C.

    Whisk za'atar with olive oil into paste.

    Divide dough into 8 portions, roll out thinly.

    Place on baking trays.

    Brush with za'atar paste, leave edge free.

    Optionally sprinkle with crumbled feta.

    Bake 8-10 minutes until golden, serve warm.
