Step by step

Wash strawberries, hull and depending on size halve or quarter.

Mix with 30 g sugar and lemon juice, let steep about 15 min.

Reserve strawberry juice, puree one third of the strawberries.

Separate eggs. Beat yolks with powdered sugar and vanilla until fluffy.

Stir in mascarpone.

Whip cream to stiff peaks, beat egg whites with salt and remaining sugar to stiff peaks.

Fold cream and meringue into the mascarpone mixture.

Dip ladyfingers in strawberry puree and juice, layer in a dish.
