  • Canned chickpeas
    200 g
  • Coconut milk
    100 ml
  • Tomatoes pureed
    100 g
  • Onion
    1 Stk
  • Garlic cloves
    1 Stk
  • Ginger
    1 cm
  • Curry powder
    ½ tsp
  • Garam masala
    ¼ tsp
  • Turmeric
    ¼ tsp
  • Cumin
    ¼ tsp
  • Spinach
    50 g
  • Olive oil
    ¾ tbsp
  • Salt
    ¼ tsp
  • Pepper
    1 pinch
  • Lime juice
    2 tbsp
Method

Step by step

    Finely chop onion, garlic and ginger.

    Heat olive oil in a pot, sauté onion.

    Briefly fry garlic and ginger.

    Add curry powder, garam masala, turmeric and cumin, briefly toast.

    Add pureed tomatoes and coconut milk.

    Fold in drained chickpeas, simmer 15 min.

    Add spinach and let wilt.

    Adjust with salt, pepper and lime juice.

    Serve sprinkled with cilantro over rice or naan.
