Ingredients
For 2 portions
- Tortilla chips50 g
- Salsa RojaOr: Tomato sauce100 ml
- Eggs1 Stk
- Cheddar 40 g gratedOr: Mozzarellaas needed
- Sour creamOr: Crème fraîche25 g
- Avocado1 Stk
- Red onions1 Stk
- Cilantro1 bunch
- Lime juice¼ tbsp
- JalapenosOr: Chili pepper1 Stk
- Sunflower oil½ tbsp
Method
Step by step

Heat Salsa Roja in a large pan.
- 2
Add tortilla chips to the warm salsa and gently toss until coated.

Let steep over low heat 2–3 minutes so they soften slightly.

Plate and sprinkle with grated cheese.

In a separate pan fry eggs sunny-side up with a little oil.

Place fried eggs on the chilaquiles.

Slice avocado, finely dice onion.

Top with avocado, onions, sour cream, cilantro and jalapenos.

Serve immediately drizzled with lime.
