Step by step

Cook red lentils in salted water for about 10 min until soft, drain and let cool slightly.

Finely chop onion and garlic.

Mix lentils with onion, garlic, eggs, breadcrumbs, parsley, cumin and paprika.

Adjust with salt and pepper, form small patties.

Heat olive oil in a pan.

Fry patties over medium heat 3–4 min per side until golden.

Serve with yogurt dip or salad.
