Method

Step by step

    Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla until pale and foamy.

    Carefully fold in flour, starch and baking powder.

    Spread batter onto a tray lined with parchment.

    Bake at 200°C for about 8–10 min.

    Immediately invert onto a sugar-dusted cloth, roll up and let cool.

    Whip cream with vanilla to stiff peaks.

    Unroll sponge, spread with cream and strawberries, roll up.

    Dust with powdered sugar.
