  • Eggs

  • MilkOr: UHT milk
    60 ml
  • SugarOr: Brown sugar
    ½ tbsp
  • Vanilla sugarOr: Vanilla extract

  • Cinnamon stick 0.25 tsp ground

Method

Step by step

    Whisk eggs with milk, sugar and vanilla sugar in a shallow bowl.

    Melt butter in a pan over medium heat.

    Briefly dip toast slices in the egg-milk mixture on both sides, do not soak.

    Fry 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.

    Arrange on plates and dust with cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar.

    Serve immediately, optionally with apple sauce.
