For 2 portions

  • Whipping cream
    130 ml
  • Milk
    30 ml
  • Sugar
    20 g
  • Vanilla beanOr: Vanilla extract
    1 Stk
  • Gelatin
    1 sheet
  • StrawberryOr: Blueberries
    75 g
  • Lime juice
    ¼ tbsp
  • Powdered sugar
    10 g
Method

Step by step

    Soak gelatin in cold water.

  2. 2

    Heat cream with milk, sugar and scraped vanilla in a pot, do not boil.

  3. 3

    Take pot off heat.

  4. 4

    Squeeze gelatin and dissolve in warm cream.

  5. 5

    Strain through fine sieve into 4 molds.

  6. 6

    Refrigerate at least 5 hrs.

    Puree strawberries with lime juice and powdered sugar or simmer as coulis.

    Briefly dip molds in hot water, then invert onto plates.

  9. 9

    Serve with strawberry sauce.
